Moments
A microadventure looks different in January than in July. This page shows how the outdoors changes with the seasons, no big trip required, and why each season suits a different kind of small task.
Spring
First ferns, dew-wet paths, the forest smells of wet leaves. The short window right after sunrise shows detail that disappears by midday. Astronomical spring starts around March 20th, the spring equinox.
Summer
Long evenings, light until late, a short walk goes a long way. A microadventure often fits right after work here, instead of needing a whole day. The summer solstice around June 21st brings the longest day of the year, often 16+ hours of daylight in Germany.
Autumn
Warm light, rustling leaves, the year's best photo moments. High-contrast late-afternoon light makes even simple subjects look special. Around September 22nd, the autumn equinox, day and night are roughly equal length again.
Winter
Short days, clear air, a microadventure fits inside a lunch break too. Cold and limited daylight aren't a reason to skip it, just a reason for shorter routes. The winter solstice around December 21st marks the shortest day, after which days start getting longer again.

To be clear: these aren't proof photos from the app, they're editorial stills showing what a microadventure can look like. Your own photo proof in Glenby always shows your real place, at your real time.
Your own momentum
The first task is waiting near you, not in these photos.
