Our commitment
We want Glenby to be usable by as many people as possible. We are not obligated to do so as a microenterprise, but we make a good-faith effort toward core principles of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, such as sufficient contrast, clear labels, and comfortably usable sizes. We do not issue a formal conformance statement under EN 301 549 or an accessibility statement within the meaning of the BITV, that would not be honest at our scale.
Implementation status
Already implemented, among other things, are sufficient colour contrast, adequately sized touch targets, screen-reader labels, support for larger text, and respect for the system setting for reduced motion (prefers-reduced-motion).
Legal framework
Glenby is operated by a microenterprise within the meaning of § 3 Abs. 3 BFSG (fewer than 10 employees and no more than 2 million euros in annual turnover or annual balance sheet total) and is therefore exempt, under § 3 Abs. 3 Satz 1 in conjunction with § 2 Nr. 17 BFSG, from the obligations of the Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz (Accessibility Strengthening Act) for services. This page does not replace a formal accessibility statement; it honestly describes our voluntary, good-faith efforts. A free initial consultation under § 15 BFSG is also available through the Bundesfachstelle Barrierefreiheit (Federal Competence Centre for Accessibility), which we will make use of if needed.
Known limitations
We are still testing individual areas with assistive technologies on real devices. If you notice a barrier, please let us know - that helps us the most.
Feedback procedure
If you come across a barrier, email hello@glenby.de with a short description and, if possible, the device you used and the affected location in the app or on the website. We will confirm receipt and get back to you with an assessment.
