A dense forest seen from above in the first morning light.

Go outside with one person you actually know.

You both take on the same task, you both go outside, and afterwards you have something that would not exist without both of you. On your own it works just as well.

Four small steps to your next microadventure.

Pick a task

A small nudge every morning. A stream, a view, a tree. Nothing you have to travel far for.

A forest from above, threaded with narrow paths.

Head outside

No timer, no pressure. You go when it suits you. The walk is the task.

A sunny forest path between tall trees.

Show you were there

One photo with place and time. Honest, no filter, nothing made up. Just you and the moment.

A dew-covered fern in close-up in the morning light.

Keep at it, at your own pace

No daily pressure. Calm weekly streaks, XP and a collection that feels earned. No casino.

A starry sky with green aurora over a dark forest silhouette.

Outside, no two days look the same.

Small paths, quiet places, honest moments. A glimpse of what's waiting.

A dirt track winds through a misty valley.
A path over soft green hills in the morning light.
A still forest clearing with ferns in soft morning light.
A mirror-still forest lake in the morning mist.
A campfire in the forest at dusk.
Mountain ranges layered in the light of sunset.
Pressed fern fronds on pale paper.
A dew-wet meadow in golden evening light.
A clear stream runs over mossy stones in the forest.
A single pine on a misty hill.

Everything that gets you out. Nothing that nags.

A single dew-wet forest flower in close-up.

Honest photo proof

Every photo carries place and time. No filter, no made-up species, no polished tracking. What you show, you really did.

Stepping stones across a shallow, clear forest stream.

Daily tasks

Small quests that fit the place. Never more than a walk can hold. A small nudge to get out every morning.

Soft mist over a meadow full of wildflowers at dawn.

Calm weekly streaks

Progress by the week, not the day. One missed day breaks nothing. XP and a collection that feels earned, without the casino.

A sheltered, moss-covered nook deep in the forest.

Frequently asked questions

What is a microadventure?

A microadventure is a small task outdoors, close enough to fit inside a short walk, no big trip, no gear. Glenby suggests one or two a day, matched to the season and your area, and a photo with place and timestamp honestly shows you were there.

How much time outside per week is good for you?

As little as 10 minutes outside shows a measurable effect, and around 120 minutes a week is considered the wellbeing threshold (White et al., 2019 study). A daily microadventure on Glenby doesn't need hours at a time to fit inside that.

Why doesn't Glenby plan routes for long hikes?

Because that's not the problem Glenby is trying to solve. Instead of planning long tours, Glenby focuses on small, recurring occasions right outside your door, the microadventure principle: honest photo proof instead of route tracking, calm weekly streaks instead of performance stats.
