Terms and Conditions

Terms of use for the Glenby app and website. This is a translation for convenience. The German version is legally binding.

Provider and scope

These terms apply to the use of the Glenby app and website, offered by Ebrahim Seyfi (Geschäftsbezeichnung „Senorit"). Address and contact details can be found in the Legal notice.

Who may use Glenby

Glenby is intended exclusively for adults. You must be at least 18 years old to use Glenby; by registering, you confirm that you have reached the age of majority.

Rules for your content

Share only content you are entitled to share. Illegal, harmful, or rights-infringing content is not permitted, in particular sexualized depictions of minors. Such content is intercepted on the device already, to the extent technically possible (see Security & Transparency). Your shared content remains your property; because it is end-to-end encrypted, we acquire no rights of use to it and cannot view it. You are responsible yourself for what you share.

Reporting violations

You can report violations and unlawful content in the app. We confirm receipt of your report, review the reported content, and inform you of the outcome of our review as well as your options for contesting this decision. Depending on the outcome, we may remove content or suspend accounts.

Outdoor activities

The tasks in Glenby take place outdoors and are undertaken at your own responsibility. Assess the terrain, weather, and your own abilities yourself, and observe local rules, for example on nature conservation or private property.

Paid features, prices, and payment

Some features are paid (subscriptions as well as individual, one-time in-app purchases). The current names, features, prices, and billing periods are shown to you before purchase in the app or on the order page; all prices include statutory value-added tax.

A paid contract is only formed if the ordering situation clearly indicates this: where the order is placed via a button, that button must be clearly labelled with the words „zahlungspflichtig bestellen" (German for "order with obligation to pay") or an equivalently unambiguous wording (§ 312j BGB). Without such a label, no contract is formed. Subscriptions renew automatically for the respective period until cancelled.

Cancellation

You can cancel a running subscription at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period - via the cancellation function in your account or the app, or via the payment management of your app store, if the purchase was completed there. This cancellation function is distinct from your statutory right of withdrawal: cancellation ends a running subscription for the future, whereas withdrawal retroactively undoes the original conclusion of the contract.

Right of withdrawal

As a consumer, you have a statutory right of withdrawal for paid contracts. The full withdrawal instructions, the model withdrawal instructions, the model withdrawal form, and the permanently available withdrawal function under § 356a BGB can be found on the Right of withdrawal page.

Availability

We make an effort to keep Glenby running reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Suspension and termination

You can delete your account at any time (see account and data deletion). In the event of serious or repeated violations of these terms, we may suspend or terminate an account.

Liability

Glenby is provided with reasonable care. Liability for damages arising from taking part in the tasks is excluded to the extent permitted by law; liability for intent, gross negligence, and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.

Changes and governing law

We may amend these terms; we will inform you of material changes in the app. The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods, to the extent legally permissible.
